Invitation to take part in Leafield Parish Council’s Public Consultation

We are beginning a consultation exercise to find out residents’ views on the proposed village hall car park project, the creation of a new burial ground and the proposals to handover the management of St Michael and All Angel’s Churchyard to the Parish Council when it is closed in 2020 due to being full.

We kickstarted our public consultation with a stand at last Saturday’s Leafield Christmas Fayre.  If you were not able to make it to that event then you are invited to complete a consultation form before 31st December.  The form is available to download here General Project Consultation Precept Increase Survey Questionnaire for Xmas Fayre .

Alternatively there are hard copies available in the Peapell’s Stores or at the Village Hall.  Postboxes to return your form are available in both locations but, if you prefer, you can email your downloaded form to or post to Sharon Henley, Clerk to Leafield Parish Council, 19 Bleriot Road, Upper Rissington, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire GL54 2NN.

We will hold a full Public Consultation Meeting in January once the final costs for the car park and burial ground have been confirmed following project tenders.
