Leafield Footpaths Walk: Saturday 12th November

This is a 10 KM walk exploring six of the public rights of way in Leafield Parish.

There is an alternative of 3 km

Meet on the Christmas tree green at 9:30 am

The walk will cross fields which may be ploughed, there will be stiles to cross. Participants should bring secateurs to help in clearing vegetation hampering passage.

After the first two paths (273/9 and 273/10) we reach the South Lawn farm and the road from Swinbrook to Shipton under Wychwood at SP 28652 14649. Those wishing to do the shorter version can arrange with others to park a car here to drive back to Leafield.

For the main walk we turn left to pass Swinford House.

Shortly after the Swinford ponds, we turn left to follow the road to Fordwells and on to the next footpaths in Field Assarts.

On reaching Purrants Lane at the Pig Farm we follow more paths to emerge via the Lancut on to the flagpole green by the school.
