Village Hall Extension Project (now the Leafield Community Hub)

LEAFIELD VILLAGE HALL REVISED PLAN 9.12.16

UPDATE November 2018

The project is now known as The Leafield Community Hub

REASON AND NEED FOR THE PROJECT:

The hall is now in constant use in the evenings and we are unable to meet requests for new regular bookings.

To meet the demand, we aim to extend the hall on the east side to provide: –

A room for meetings of 20 to 30 people,

A storage area to free up the stage and the small room to the side of the stage,

Improved toilet facilities

Refurbishing and re–positioning to increase provision for female toilets

Improved entrance and accessibility to the main hall

Accessible entrance to the new room

In addition, we propose to improve heating by providing a sustainable air-sourced system which extracts heat from surroundings to pass to the hall.

PROGRESS: SO FAR:

Planning permission is in place and fundraising is well under way ,

Full building specifications have been drawn up and quotes received.
