The Village Hall is situated in the centre of Leafield, adjacent to a large playing field and young children’s play area. With a lounge that can seat 20 and a main hall that can accommodate 100 people, the Hall is a flexible venue for a range of functions. In addition, there is a kitchen area with cooker and fridge and ample serving space provided by two counters. The Hall is fully accessible by wheelchair and has ample parking. The Hall must meet standards of safety laid down by the local authority and pays for licences, regular inspection and maintenance of fire alarm and prevention systems, electricity, gas and central heating systems. Other expenses include repairs and maintenance, insurance, water supplies, council tax and cleaning. |
